Puran poli is the most popular sweet dish of Maharashtra. Puran poli prepared by roasting delicious chana dal and jaggery stuffed puran poli in ghee.
Puran Poli is normally made on festive days such as Dusera, Gudhipadva, Holi, Ganesh festival etc. Mande is basically huge Puranpoli. This Puran Poli (Mande) is 4 to 5 times more than normal Puran Poli.
In this video Mande is made on Khapar (Earthen Pot), Puran not contains sugar, instead gul (Jaggery) used, as well as sunth and velchi. Its size is huge one and also natural sweetness due to gul which is good for health. It’s good to use ghee on Puranpoli (Mande) while eating.
